Book Review: On Magnolia Lane by Denise Hunter

First things first, I am an avid reader. Like borderline obsessed with books! I even have my own mini library. Most of that library consists of Christian Fiction/ Christian Romance. I am also an incredibly fast reader, which means I go through a lot of books in a calendar year. So I am always looking for a new book series. While I was researching "new to me" authors a few years ago, I stumbled upon Denise Hunter. She quickly became one of my favorite authors because her books are really romantic and her plots lines are unique and fun!

On Facebook, Denise had posted that they were looking for people to read and review her upcoming book, "On Magnolia Lane."  So I entered and when I got the book in the mail I was literally jumping all over the house. It felt like Christmas morning. (Thank you, Denise. I feel honored to have been chosen!) So here is my review of "On Magnolia Lane."

This is book number three of  "A Blue Ridge Romance" series. Although it is helpful to read the previous two books, it is not necessary. The story is set in small town USA where Pastor Jack McReady is in love with the local flower shop owner, Daisy. Daisy is oblivious to the fact that her pastor has fallen in love with her in "one-hour increments" through her counseling sessions with him. So in an attempt to get her attention, Jacks friends set up an online dating profile for him.  Daisy is also on the exact same dating site and they begin to form a connection through their messages. There is a major issue though, on the dating profile Jacks friends chose inconspicuous photos of him and used his initials, T. J. Daisy has no idea it is actually her Pastor, Jack!

Just when things are looking up for her, an unlikely visitor shakes up Daisy's whole life. She turns to Jack for comfort and she starts seeing him as more than just her pastor. She also confides in T.J. and realizes that she is falling for him as well. Conflicted in her growing feelings for them both she must decide who to choose. Little does she know that they are the same person!

This story takes on so many twists and turns as Daisy discovers more about her past and who she will choose for her future. As a whole, I loved this book! Denise Hunter created a beautiful love story while weaving real-life struggles and obstacles. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a cute romantic read! Or if you are into the Christian Romance genre.

(P.S. Denise creates Pinterest boards for her inspiration of various books. These pictures were her inspo for both Jack and Daisy. I'm loving her choices!)

Thanks so much for reading! On Magnolia Lane releases on November 6th.
