Orlando Eats

Here we go again...this time it's an Orlando eats edition. Yum!

I'm a foodie through and through. It doesnt have to be super fancy, I'm in to the good old classic comfort foods.

Here are must eat foods in the Orlando area.

The first few are ones are found in the Disney World parks. More specifically, Animal Kingdom. This fry concoction was one of them 😍 seasoned fries with tzatziki salad and sriracha mayo. It sounds a little odd but was seriously amazing! (This was in the Asia section at a small kiosk!)


Also this 😍 a tasty treat to cool down! 
Cookies n' cream ice cream sandwiches. Found throughout the park. 




Next up is in Disney Springs. A hip little shopping area with live music entertainment and lots of things Disney! 
We found these yummy desserts at a place called Amorettes Patesserie. 
          (Chocolate chiffon cake with white       chocolate mouse and chocolate pudding)
(Mickey Mouse brownie) 

Also in Disney Springs is a restaurant called T-Rex. They have animatronic dinosaurs with sporadic "meteor showers" while you eat. It's a bit more of a splurge meal but the experience is worth it! The meal portions are also huge!

 T-Rex also had the best strawberry lemonade and you can get refills to go!


Tijuana Flatts 
A health(ier) option with really yummy Mexican food! They have a tonne of hot sauce options to try and complimentary chips. I got the chicken quesadillas. They have realy great (and cheap) prices too! 




And of course I had to try their Flautus 
      (Cookie dough deep fried inside tortillas)

                             Bahama Breeze
Fun and authentic food with a tropical vibe!
Lots of seafood options and fun drinks!
                      Chipotle Chicken salad.


Twistee Treats 
Ice cream taco rolled in oreo...need I say more? So delicious and there are many locations throughout Orlando. Super cheap ice cream but tastes great!

     Wow time really got away from me the last couple of months. I had meant to post about this a LONG time ago! Here is a recap of my trip to Carlsbad/ San Deigo, California! This was the first time I had ever left my kids, but it was a great recharge for me. I got to tag along for a work conference for my dads company.  Kudos to my husband for totally nailing it at home. And also my dad for winning an award! (At the awards dinner) Carlsbad, California  We stayed at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad. Its over 4500 acres in total and has a few golf courses. To be honest it felt like its own little town. There were multiple restaurants and a shopping areas, along with over 8 pools! Not going to lie though it was COLD. Like I was shivering without a jacket during the day cold...definitely not the warm Californian escape I was expecting. HA! But I really can't complain because it was a treat to see flowers and palm trees in the winte...
