Shopping local is important to me,  do you have local company you love? Here are 5 different Canadian companies you can love and support!
Is that something that is important to you as well?  *Can I just note that it is REALLY hard to find all Canadian brands.* I also think supporting little Canadian stores are important too! Each of these images are straight off of their sites, take a peek!

1) Buttercream Clothing

I have talked about this company before. I love them! Seriously. The comfiest clothes and they are ethically Canadian made! I can attest to both the quality of fabric but also how practical the pieces are. They have some mens clothes and carry PLUS sizes too! Whoop whoop!


2) Canadian Made Apparel 

  "A Canadian Brand thats actually made in Canada". I like the sounds of that! 
Their clothes have a more "leisure" feel to them and are for both men and women. Their shirts feature quirky sayings that Canadians are known for, like this sorry not sorry shirt with the not crossed out. How accurate right?? Because if Canadians are known for anything, its our way of saying Sorry. ALL OF THE TIME.  



3) Lamb Soapworks 

Based out of my hometown Lamb Soapworks makes soaps, scrubs, lotions and more!

This is a company based out of BC and they make unisex kids clothing (and some adult too!) The founders started small and made the shirts in their garage. Now its grown exponentially and you can see why. I seriously can not get over how cute the designs are. Seriously! Also the shirts are made with recycled material (50% Bamboo Rayon, 40% Organic Cotton, 10% Recycled Polyester from Water Bottles) Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

5) Norton Designs

 This business was also started up in my hometown.  I love Angela's string art! Its fun, whimsical and really unique. She also does a fun take on unicorns, animals and more! She doesn't have a website link, but check out her Facebook page.

Well hello there!

Hello! My name is Megan. I've blogged on and off (more off) since 2011! I am a wife, mom, follower of Jesus, lover of fashion, makeup and traveling. This will be reflected in my posts and they will contain a little bit of everything. I also am an M.S. "fighter." My hope is to raise awareness and also encourage anyone who is fighting an autoimmune disease! I got married at the ripe old age of, ahem 19. As you can imagine I got some interesting and sometimes unwarranted reactions. "You're engaged?" " How old are you? Do you know how high the divorce rate is?" " I would never let my daughter get married that young"....yada yada yada. But thankfully I didn't listen to what anyone said! I have been married to my husband for over 6 years and haven't regretted it for one second! I have 2 beautiful boys, Noah (3) and Levi (almost 2) and a puppy named Tucker!  This is my beautiful, complicated and often crazy life.

California February 2018

     Wow time really got away from me the last couple of months. I had meant to post about this a LONG time ago! Here is a recap of my trip to Carlsbad/ San Deigo, California! This was the first time I had ever left my kids, but it was a great recharge for me. I got to tag along for a work conference for my dads company.  Kudos to my husband for totally nailing it at home. And also my dad for winning an award! (At the awards dinner) Carlsbad, California  We stayed at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad. Its over 4500 acres in total and has a few golf courses. To be honest it felt like its own little town. There were multiple restaurants and a shopping areas, along with over 8 pools! Not going to lie though it was COLD. Like I was shivering without a jacket during the day cold...definitely not the warm Californian escape I was expecting. HA! But I really can't complain because it was a treat to see flowers and palm trees in the winte...
