The Best Summer finds: Home and Fashion!

Man, it feels like the stretches between my blogs have slowly gotten farther and farther apart. But I do love it, so here is an updated want list! I found some really awesome pieces for both fashion and home decor and I wanted to share them with you all!

First up, Indigo/ Chapters is having a crazy sale for a few days only! This is the perfect time to stock up on home decor, books and toys (hello Christmas gifts!) ((Yes I just said Christmas :O )

Im obsessed with Indigos home decor section, but it can be pricey so I always wait for the sales. I have a VERY eclectic style and home taste. I LOVE these fun fringe pillows. They are on sale for $5 right now! (REG $49.50!) WHAT?!?!!

I dont know about you, but Im seeing palm print EVERYWHERE and I love it. This super cute platter for outdoor entertaining is so cute! I just imagine sliced watermelon on this cute plate and the BBQ going.  Its on sale for $14 (Reg $28)

Ok its not a secret that I love Stella & Dot....so when they have a sale, you know Im going to be there! Ive been eying these earrings since they launched because they look so fun! Im all about unique accessories and clothing. These are definitely that!

When I saw this bag at Aldo I did a double take because A) Its too fun! B) It looks way more $$$ that what it actually costs, which is right up my alley! The colours, beadwork and the fact that its a crossbody bag? SOLD!

Last up is this super pretty off the shoulder top from Silver Icing. They have stepped up the game with their clothing.  Since Im a fan of being comfy, while stylish this top snagged my eye. Im also a fan of this blush colour (also comes in grey)! It has a neat twist detail at the bottom...it also covers the bottom, if you know what I mean. ;)

Hello! My name is Megan. I've blogged on and off (more off) since 2011! I am a wife, mom, follower of Jesus, lover of fashion, makeup and traveling. California February 2018

     Wow time really got away from me the last couple of months. I had meant to post about this a LONG time ago! Here is a recap of my trip to Carlsbad/ San Deigo, California! This was the first time I had ever left my kids, but it was a great recharge for me. I got to tag along for a work conference for my dads company.  Kudos to my husband for totally nailing it at home. And also my dad for winning an award! (At the awards dinner) Carlsbad, California  We stayed at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad. Its over 4500 acres in total and has a few golf courses. To be honest it felt like its own little town. There were multiple restaurants and a shopping areas, along with over 8 pools! Not going to lie though it was COLD. Like I was shivering without a jacket during the day cold...definitely not the warm Californian escape I was expecting. HA! But I really can't complain because it was a treat to see flowers and palm trees in the winte...
