Christmas Chocolate Lasagna
Alright one of my favourite parts about Christmas is the food. All the sweets, treats and delicious food! 😍
Yesterday I had to make a dessert for a Christmas dinner. But Ive also been so so tired because of how ridiculously busy it has been lately. So I needed something quick, easy and also yummy. So Pinterest, thank you because once again, I owe it all to you ❤

Chocolate-lasagna <They are the genius masterminds and I just tweaked a few details!>
Chocolate and lasagna in the same sentence sounds a little weird. But trust me when I say there are no noodles involved. Just a whole lot of goodness layered together. I did tweak this just a little bit. Mostly because I didn't buy enough normal Oreos and had to improvise. Luckily I had some peppermint Oreos and added 7 of those. So the crust has a hint of peppermint in it, which in my opinion makes it even better because peppermint and Christmas pretty much go hand in hand!
First up is the base. Take 37 Original Oreos. I did 28 plain and and 7 peppermint, still short but you can't tell haha.
Add those bad boys to a blender (or food processor if you have it), and blend until all the large chunks are gone and you have a nice "crust" consistency. Like this
After that mix 6 TBSP of melted butter to the mixture and combine with a fork until everything is mixed well!
Add it to the bottom of the pan. Then toss it in the fridge to chill until the next step is complete!
2nd layer is 8 oz cream cheese whipped, then add 2 tbsp milk and 1/4 cup sugar. Whip it up baby! Once its mixed thoroughly, add 1 1/4 cups of Cool Whip -stirring with a spatula this time.
Can I just say that I had a tiny taste of the cream cheese mixture on the spatula (after I was done with it of course) and it tasted so so so so so good! I could eat that by itself. Anyways, you add that on top of the cookie mixture- spreading evenly. *quick tip add spoonfuls all over the top, that way the cookie crumbs don't pick up and mess up your base when spreading.**
Back into the fridge.
Make that pudding mix and add on top of cream cheese layer....do you see a trend here, this aint your mamas lasagna!
Last up is the layer of cool whip ans more chocolate. I topped mine with green and red M&M's because #christmas 😉
Whats your go-to dessert for the holidays?
