Christmas time is here! ❄
Christmas is in the air! Well it is in my house anyways. So today I'm giving you a peak into my home decor for the holiday season!
First up is my Christmas tree. The last few years Ive been all about the purple accents! I love the look of a colour scheme on a tree. There are sentimental ornaments scattered throughout though. I think you can have a mix of both!

❄I bought the ribbon and most of the ornaments on sale! I think I spent only $10 for most of the balls and all of the ribbon. I find the best time to shop for these items is right after Christmas. I picked them up at Home Depot for 90% off!
❄Faux fur lined tree skirt was from Michaels last year.
❄The flower picks, silver twine balls, and other assorted picks were also from Michaels. (All 50-60% off!)
❄The tree was from Loews. It was an investment, but I love it! (My parents liked it too because they went out and bought it 😉) It has various types of stems and pinecones too! It was also on sale.
Next up is one of my latest projects. I got the inspiration after visiting my friend Melissa's house the other day. Her house felt so magical, so I wanted to amp up my Christmas game! I also had an abundance of ribbon and ornaments left over so it worked out perfectly. I picked up garland at michaels (sale $6 for 9 ft!) Wraped ribbon, added ordaments. Boom 😍
I added the garland to my back door, kitchen nook and the banister down my stairs!
(Santa was on sale for $25 at local store!)
I bought command strip hooks and used those for both my stairs, and the kitchen nook.
"The stockings were hung by the chimminy with care." Well we don't have a fireplace let alone a chimminy in our townhouse, so I had to get creative with hanging the stockings.... I love how it turned out.
(This is right above my couch!)
I have a white ikea table in my family room. I tried to go more simple as I didnt want to overcrowd the table this year.
And last but not least was this cute little DIY. I took thumb tacs, ribbon and Christmas ornaments and strung them at various lengths. I saw this idea on Pinterest a few years ago.
Are you planning on doing any DIYs this Christmas? Have you already made some?
