Book Review: Evermore by Jody Hedlund

Hey everyone! I hope your week is going well. I'm excited to talk about a book being released today, "Evermore" by Jody Hedlund! But just a heads up...there is a short story prequel (Always) that I would reccomend reading before this one. Although this story could be read without it, there is a wealth of background knowledge in the prequel that really helps set up the series! (Its also really really good!)  Now on to my review....Evermore is part of a new series that takes us on a journey of the three Lost Princesses. Book One is about Adelaide (Constance) and her discovery about her true identity. Adelaide grew up believing that her "Aunt" took her in after her parents death; but that her life was ordinary otherwise. Things change when, on her dying breath, her "Aunt" tells Adelaide she is actually the true Queen of Mercia. Adelaide is skeptical,  she would much rather Joust and hunt then wear fancy dresses. Book Review: Always by Jody Helund

First and foremost let's talk about this stunning cover 🥰 It is beautiful and sets the tone for this amazing book. They say not to judge a book by its cover but this book: amazing cover=amazing book. This is Jody Hedlunds first branch off into YA fiction set in the Medieval time period. "Always" is a prequel to her new series, "The Lost Princesses"which releases today! Happy book birthday Jody! Let me tell you...from the first page I was hooked. I was swept away with the intense beginning that just kept getting better and better. Jody spins a story of love and bravery as an Elite Knight and Noblewomen are both sworn to protect the heirs to the Kingdom. After pledging to both the King and Queen, Lance and Felicia risk their lives for the 3 surviving Princesses.
