Hey everyone! I hope your week is going well. I'm excited to talk about a book being released today, "Evermore" by Jody Hedlund! But just a heads up...there is a short story prequel (Always) that I would reccomend reading before this one. Although this story could be read without it, there is a wealth of background knowledge in the prequel that really helps set up the series! (Its also really really good!) Now on to my review....Evermore is part of a new series that takes us on a journey of the three Lost Princesses. Book One is about Adelaide (Constance) and her discovery about her true identity. Adelaide grew up believing that her "Aunt" took her in after her parents death; but that her life was ordinary otherwise. Things change when, on her dying breath, her "Aunt" tells Adelaide she is actually the true Queen of Mercia. Adelaide is skeptical, she would much rather Joust and hunt then wear fancy dresses. Adelaide's identity is soon ...
